Kim Kardashian's ex Ray J breaks silence on Diddy in an interview

Ray J has spoken out for the first time about the explosive sex-trafficking case involving his former mentor, Sean "Diddy" Combs, during an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored.

In the candid interview, the 44-year-old R&B singer and reality star, who previously dated Kim Kardashian, shared his reaction to the ongoing scandal and the disturbing reports surrounding Combs' infamous "freak-off" parties.

Ray J said, "I think it's kind of becoming a circus… with all the allegations and now with everybody explaining what's happening in the bedroom—every day—it just sounds crazier and crazier and freakier and weirder, right?"

While he did not directly accuse Diddy of any specific wrongdoing, his comments reflect growing public discomfort over the increasingly graphic and bizarre revelations surfacing from the case.

Ray J's remarks come as several lawsuits and federal investigations into Diddy continue to unfold, prompting many in the music industry to distance themselves from the embattled mogul.

Ray J continued to express skepticism about the direction and scope of the allegations against Sean "Diddy" Combs, telling Piers Morgan Uncensored:

"I'm trying to understand, with all this being said — like with Kid Cudi going on and saying everything that happened, but then ended up saying, 'Cassie played both of us'... Where are we trying to go? Are we just trying to tell all of these crazy stories, and then that equals out to sex trafficking?"

The singer suggested that the accusations against Diddy are "starting to become outrageous," implying that the public narrative may be spiraling into sensationalism.

While Ray J didn’t defend Diddy outright, his comments raised questions about the credibility and motivations behind some of the claims. "It's a RICO case. It's really only Diddy and maybe one other person. I'm just starting to feel uncomfortable, and I'm starting to feel weird about this whole thing."

Referring to the increasingly graphic and complex testimony, Ray J described the trial atmosphere as something resembling a “vortex of a dominatrix story,” filled with bizarre nicknames and sensational claims. He admitted:

"It's intense. It's entertaining, for sure, and it's definitely press-worthy. But at the end of it all… this is what Diddy is being charged for?... I don't understand it."

 

Ray J also distanced the media portrayal of Diddy from the man he says he knew personally:

"I was around Diddy all the way, pretty much, up until the arrest. And… he's always inspired me to be great… It just sounds like this was a private, personal thing that was happening, and now it's starting to become diabolical."

He acknowledged that some of the reported acts could have been part of consensual adult behavior, implying that authorities may be overreaching in how they're framing the case:

"It’s chilling and it’s scary for a lot of people out there in this business, like us, who are trying to walk the right path."
